Born and raised in Petach-Tikva, Israel, A.J. (Aviv Joshua) came to the U.S. after his service in the Israeli Air-Force. He completed three years of studies at the American Academy of Dramatic Arts, where he acquired a perfect American dialect, only to start his professional career playing an Israeli on ABC's High Incident and an Arab on UPN's Soldier of Fortune.
A.J.'s Film/TV appearances include Boston Public , Significant Others , Martial Law , Aaron Spelling's Beverly Hills,90210 and Titans , HBO's Lansky , and Norman Mailer's Time of Her Time .
He appeared as Navy lawyer "Lt. Alfred Aldridge'" for a season on CBS' JAG and was thrilled to revisit his Israeli accent and roots as "Ariel" in West Bank Story.
Theater credits include "Hal" in Proof , "Gary" in Noises Off and "Bernard" in Season's Greetings.
